Meet the Team

At the Maryland Ministry of Agriculture, Inc. (MDMOA), our leadership is dedicated to fostering sustainable communities through agriculture, education, and economic development.

  • Founder | Executive Director, Maryland Ministry of Agriculture, Inc. (MDMOA)

Driven by a passion for sustainability and economic development, Demond Brightful founded the Maryland Ministry of Agriculture, Inc. (MDMOA) in 2024. As a former Urban Planning graduate student at Morgan State University, he focused on sustainability and economic development while fostering a deep interest in agribusiness.

Inspired by a rich history of community business practices, farming, and animal husbandry, Demond established MDMOA to bridge the gap in sustainable living across Baltimore and its surrounding areas. Through this 501(c)(3) nonprofit, he aims to empower individuals with the tools and knowledge needed to create resilient, self-sufficient communities.
